^^^ $5.99 US per month with the lowest storage plan. Next step up is $9.99 US per month.

I did the free plan for years, just got tired of all the pop-up ads. ](*,) ](*,)

Gday all. this is the cross member for the front diff pretty simple set up. The chassis brackets are for setting up. better units will be made for the job

this is the location for the Mitsubishi bevel box. A very simple plate to mount it to chassis it uses 1 of the original kombi bolt holes

next job building the rear diff centre mount. It will bolt onto the diff cover bolts & then to the original kombi upper gearbox mounting bracket.

This is the beginning of the front bumpstop rubber mounting to replace the original. Because of the relocation of the lower beam tube by 8 CM's there rubbers are to far apart.

step 3 slight tack weld to position it I have 4 new rubbers 2 65mm high 2 50mm high

when I 1st installed the rear diff centre the left side gap for the axle shaft came up short. I figured I would have to use a beetle IRS axle but luck was on my side the Kombi unit fitted with enough plunge on the CV's

^^^ You said it Franz! This bus can never change hands again. It's going to require so much intimate knowledge if it ever needs a repair, a new owner would be pulling his hair out. Wink I really like it though, reminds me of my dad and some of his constructs. Smile

good evening all. Yes I have had a good run on the bus. I suffer from bursitis arthritis & torn rotator cuffs in both shoulders so the last couple of weeks I have had a bit of relief. I have a Facebook Page modified KOMBI & vw projects id anyone wants to check it out. I have alist of parts used so far on there
